Here's one from Coronado Springs. I wanted to capture the moon over the main buildings. I really like how the long exposure brought out the stars around the moon and the smoke trail from the building.

Very nice shot of Coronado immagination! I definitely think the long exposure worked out well for that shot. I am guessing you used a tripod or some other leveling device.

ckc: Amazing shot the castle. It really makes me want to go during the holidays and see that in person. I have never seen so many colors being projected on it like that.

I haven't been a big fan of taking night shots lately, been on more of a Daylight and Ride picture stint. Also been really into taking pics of CM's too.......as you can tell from the daylight picture stream. :) We will see what I am into when I go down to WDW next month. Maybe I will shoot more night shots then.

Thank you Boilerbabe and Len90.

Len this picture was from the same trip where I forgot my tripod so if I remember correctly I used a garbage can.

ckc, great castle shot! i only wish i could see it in person all lit up. but everyone's pictures are helping me see wat i am not able to in person, it's truly amazing. I never realized quite what i am missing at night.

Imagination, Coronado Springs is absolutely gorgeous! the moon almost looks like an eclipse! I'll bet you come back in the fall with even more amazing shots with that new camera!

Morningsky, when you go in a week, you should have someone take digital video of the fireworks and then you can convert the frames into images (or something like that). That way you can see the whole fireworks display via pictures. I'll look at my video camera and digital cameras and see if any of them do that. If so, I'll do that for you when I go.

that's an idea i have never thought of. I have never seen a whole fireworks show, let alone the Disney ones, which I'm sure must be the creme de la creme! I'll make sure someone in the group takes a video of it if they can get in a good spot.

WOW!!! I am in complete awe of everyone's pictures! I know I haven't been on as much recently and I haven't uploaded any new pictures either. There is so much photographic talent on this site!

I need to renew my Flickr account by the 21st so I'll hopefully renew that soon and continue to post some more pictures here. I took some here and there today while I was at DLR.

This is not my photo. It's actually from the 1982 castmember calendar for October 1982 (note the date), but it seems to fit this thread topic well:

That's an awesome picture mindflipper and I'm glad you shared it! I miss that fountain and the way the Epcot entrance used to look.

OK, so I am going to post this in both picture forums.

As a reminder to all users please remember that pictures should be limited to 800 x 600 or 600 x 800, please make sure your pictures are posted to meet these size requirements.

An example of a correctly sized image:

Photos should be limited to a maximum size 800 x 600 or 600 x 800. If your hosting service does not provide this exact measurement then choose the measurement that is close but smaller (example flickr 500 x 415). This will cut down on bandwidth usage and help those with smaller monitors to prevent left right scrolling.

Also I have noticed that users are double posting, please be reminded that double posting is not allowed Please be advised that we are cracking down again as it is starting to accumulate Rules:
js3901 wrote:Lately, I've noticed users posting multiple times in one thread, one post right after the other(s). Mainly, I've seen this happen for 4 reasons:

1) someone forgot to say something in the post they just made, but they wanted to add that little bit to the conversation

2) someone posted something, didn't realize it actually posted, and they pressed the "back" button to amend the post.

3) someone posted something in response to one other post in the same thread, the second post is in response to another post in same said thread

4) An error message after posting is received, so you press "Refresh" in your browser.

Now, while I know that most of the time this is not intentional, I see this far too frequently to consider it ALL accidental. Now, I'm not here to point fingers or anything, and please don't just PM me saying I'm being a meanie or anything. But, I just wanted to let everyone know of a little feature you can use to fix these mistakes in the future (should you find yourself making them)

When you post, you will see a little toolbar at the top before what you typed. Up there, there should be at least 2 buttons: Image and Image. If you forgot to say something, instead of just adding another post, just edit your last post with what you wanted to say.

If you do receive an error message (and the page does not refresh to your most recent post), just follow this one step. DO NOT PRESS REFRESH. just click the blue link for Subsonic Radio Forum Index. you'll have to re-enter the forum/thread in which you posted, but you will see your post as the most recent.
We have dealt with this thread and we will be moving through the other threads soon. We do not delete your content just merge them and delete the superfluous ones.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Here are some more from Coronado Springs. They are all the same subject with different exposure and/or aperture settings. This was done on a regular point and shoot digital camera with its manual setting so it can be recreated on any digital camera.
