Single Rider

I can confirm that at WDW there are single rider lines at Test Track and EE because I use them. Currently that's all there are.

Can we get back on topic folks? This side stuff is funny and all but there are better places to do it, like the chatroom. Lets keep the threads a little more on topic. And may I say, you people really do beat up on Jacca way too much, any more of this and you WILL turn him into a grumpy old man.

As for the Single rider attractions, I'm not sure if there are anymore in the US Parks. I think we may have gotten them all, kind of sad really. Although I have seen the abuse of the single rider line MANY times before. I would see 4 people standing in the single rider line, for Midway Mania in DCA, talking to eachother like family (which they were) then ask to all be seated in the same ride vehicle, NOT COOL! But I do see a benefit to it aswell, and you can bet that I will be taking full advantage of it in 2 weeks when I am in Disneyland for 3 days by myself.

I wondered how they possibly could have missed the 100 signs saying that riders would be split up, parties would not be seated together, etc....and then the people would complain when they were told they had to be seated singly, slowing the process down even more That is probably why they don't have as many single rider lines anymore, too much abuse

Brazilians try that all the time knowing full well they are in the single rider line and trying to imply they don't speak English. Plus they expect all 50 - 100 + in their parties to ride in the same vehicles, no to mention all wanting the front row.

Depends. They rebuilt Rock N Rollercoaster's queue to include a single rider line in 07 and built Toy Story Mania with a single rider line (later closed because it didn't work, same reason it closed at Soarin') in 08.

Little bit of FYI for everyone: Twilight Zone Tower of Terror doesn't have a single rider line (though it could use it!) because guests won't ever let the entire Tower be shut down for a long period of time. They tried closing it for a day or two to do regular paint and maintenance and there was a line down Hollywood Blvd to complain to Guest Relations because Tower was closed. So from that day forth if they have to do anything (they switch out the cables for the lifts on a regular basis) they shut just one side down and then work the other side afterward.
