And I'll bet there's also problems with the starspeeder's droid pilot too....

Wow. I can't wait!

I think it's funny that the tease is for the "peaceful" planets, too, since Endor, Alderaan and Thespin are not the first places that would come to my mind for destinations for Star Tours. (well, maybe Endor because of the speeder sequence)
Amy, someone needs to bring over some popcorn for a serious movie weekend watching Star Wars. I didn't know there was anyone left on the planet who hadn't seen at least one Star Wars movie. I'm especially surprised because we're almost the same age, and Star Wars IV was a such a huge phenomenon when we were teens. You must have been truly immune to pop culture back then.

That one truly made me chuckle!!!!
It's nice to see that they are keeping the "commercial" idea. I always thought having the commercials playing in the queue was great!

It's just a teaser video really. The special effects scenes are clipped from the Special Edition Re-releases of the original films and bits taken from the last three. All they did was add the bits showing the Star Speeder into it. But as for the new ride motion film - I don't think they will give any of that video away before it premieres.
I would agree that it would be very surprising for any ride footage to be shown in advance.

I saw the first one, when it was re-run. But it didn't catch my attention all that much. I'm sure my older brothers saw all of the first ones, and more than likely the newest set as well. I was more likely to be climbing a tree or reading a book than watching a movie. I probably wouldn't sit still for any of them now either. I wouldn't say I was immune to pop culture back then, but I was definitely more into music than movies. That being said, I would eat the popcorn and visit with new friends though!

Just watched the video again this morning. From them, I thought we might get the following "trips":
Thespin - Isn't Thespin where the Gungans live? If so, begin by booking a flight to visit the cloud city but diverted underwater, visit the Gungans (and that really cool tunnel with the monsters - SW1), end with the fireworks at Cloud City.
Endor - got to follow the speeders through the woods and end with the Ewoks
Aldaraan - don't you think it will involve knowing that the Death Star is about to blow up the planet and trying to get out there on time? (of course, this begs the question why everyone didn't know ahead of time, but that's Hollywood revisionism, eh?)
