American Adventure
I love the AA 's at the AA. They're A-OK. I love the interaction between the AA's and the other AA's and their environments. I love how the sets come in and out of the show.
I agree with that, and I didn't know it was 35!Disneynut wrote:My favorite use of audio animatronics would have to be The American Adventure show located in the world showcase. The 35 animatronics used in this show are incredible!

I also really like Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents, and hey Food Rocks! was pretty good too!

My favorites would have to be SIR from Alien Encounter and anyone from American Adventure
I couldn't beleive it the first time I saw Ben walk! But, from what I've see in videos, Stitch is by far the most advanced audio-animatronic EVER!! He is simply amazing, but they ruined that by throwing him in a crappy show and making SIR look and act like a fool

Considering I've only been to the one in California, The one I'm most fascinated with is Tom-Morrow in Innoventions. It's really cool to see whats underneath all of those, it's completely amazing! Heres a picture if anyone wants to see him.....

Actually, I think Innoventions Tom-morrow is the same model as the one in Timekeeper.

They sure do seem to be close to the same, some design differences but overall the same basic idea really. Here is a comparision photo of Timekeeper to compare to Tom Morrow...

When I mean the same model, I mean the same mechanics. Sure they are cosmetically different.

Yes, Carousel is my all-time fave, and that's not easy to say because I enjoy animatronics all over property! But Carousel is my warmest, fuzziest hands-down.I think my favorite (not the best) audio animatronics is in the Carousel of Progress. That ride is like my version of Disney "Comfort Food".

LOL, I think that is hillarious too! I think my favorite use is the huge Splash Mountain AA after the big drop. I just think its really cool.kronk's angel wrote:I agree with everyone's comments -- they are really great. but I have to say that the best (as in funniest) for me is... Ellen, playing tug-a-war with that dinosaur.
I can't really put my finger on why, it's just really absurdly funny to me.

I agree, I would have to say my favorite is Carousel of Progress too. I just love all the details. I know it's dated and the movements of the characters and dog aren't necessarily smooth, but I can't help it - it's still my favorite.
