Has anyone mentioned the sounds of the air cylinders on Dumbo? Those are a classic and always make me go up and down a lot.

I live on a ridge above a working train museum. It's like I'm on Main Street several times a day.

I do love hearing the sounds of the Jungle Cruise motors in the distance while I'm walking through Adventureland.

Is it weird for me to be considering doing research on what kind of audio recording device would be the best to record some of the Disney's sounds?

And where did you guys get the ring tones?

No, by all means research away...and then let me know what you find out!! I've always used a cassette recorder but I'm thinking this year I will go digital. I have a small digital recorder that I use for piano performances but I don't know that it will handle the varying levels of sound in the attractions well or not.

If you have it where your computer and phone can talk, you can make your own ring tones on your computer and transfer them to your phone.

If you run this search on Google "how to make your own ringtones for free", you will find sites that you can make ringtones for free and then be able to up load them to your phone. Don't ever give a credit/debit card number. THESE SITE ARE FREE!!
Some of them will even let you make your own wallpaper.

The bats in the Indiana Jones queue :)
General water splashing sounds inside water attractions (Pirates, Splash Mountain, etc)

I'm a big fan of ambience noise and people watching :D haha

I miss the sound of that first rocket being fired from England starting Illuminations.
