In relation to Disney Parks but not specific to a single resort

Rabbit for a rabbit?). I cant' remember the specifics, but Disney no longer owns the rights to Roger Rabbit.
That's not true. Disney never sold off its rights to Roger Rabbit.

The way that they gained Oswald back was that they traded ABC sportscaster Al Michaels to NBC for the ownership of Oswald. Roger was not involved in this move in any way.
Wikipedia (yes. . . Wikipedia) says nothing about a sale...
Because it never happened, that's why.
I really feel like trusting what I was told in training more than what I was told by a Wikipedia trivia section, but I'm curious now. Getting sold off would certainly explain the sudden absence from so many places better.
Well, your trainer was wrong. Just because they have high positions like that doesn't mean that they're always right and know everything.

And the reason for Roger's absence in the parks was because Michael Eisner and Steven Spielberg had disputes over the rights to the character.

Disney and Amblin (Spielberg's private production company) share ownership of Roger Rabbit and his co-stars.

Journey into Imagination, World of Motion and Horizons are a classic Epcot trio that sadly have all gone by the wayside. I would love to see all 3 back to their original form.

well, at current, only 1 of the 3 can be readily put back to original form. the other 2 are, sadly, gone forever.

Bring back the Skyway between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The views were fantastic.

I'd bring back Horizons, World of Motion, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the seacabs (in addition to the new ride somehow, because the new ride is cute), El Rio Del Tiempo, If You Had Wings, vintage EPCOT, vintage Tomorrowland...

Mr. Toad. its replacement is very Pooh. other than that...I really like Change! 20,000 leagues was one of the worst rides. the Sky tram was cheesy looking. If anything i'd like to see them update things and not be afraid to drop things. Country Bear Jamboree.....Hall of Presidents.....Tiki Room....oh please if you want to see kids go out of their minds take them to these attractions. Actually...if you want to punish your kids for acting up while at disney...take them to these attractions then finish it off with "Its a Small World".

Next week we visit Epcot! can anyone say Ellen and living on the land...shoot me now!

hmmm this is rather inspiring for a new thread.

I would say get rid of ellen in the universe of energy, she certainly adds humor to the attraction (and she is really good at that) but I still am kinda partial to the original attraction.

How can you say 20,000 Leagues was one of the worst rides? Where else have you ever seen an underwater ride like this? Highly innovative if you ask me.

I suppose that Disney really is not going to bring anything back. I haven't seen DL's submarine voyage; maybe that one did come back - kinda. What I'd really like to see is some new edutainment attractions with the quality of some of the old ones. I like thrill rides, too, but where did all of the 20-minute experiences go? That huge imagination building wasting away! I can't understand why something hasn't been announced to go in there.

innovative yes....boring..yes as well. No queue, just boring stand in line hop on a hot sub and stare out a bubble next to some sweaty guy. i was 7 when i first went on that ride...last time too...whew! I thought they could have done so much better. sorry but i don't miss the ride. Ironically...I love the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House...now how simple is that one? i know alot of people would love to chop that tree down.

Horizons hands down. But one that my sister and I always made sure to catch every visit was Timekeeper, we really loved that attraction.

Was anyone else disgusted with the pillars and fountain at the entrance to Epcot? By pillars I mean the big eyesores with the tiny pix on them, and the ugly fountain with all the strangly placed rocks? I could not believe my eyes the first time I saw this! The old fountain with the glass structure in the middle, and the water sheeting over the blue tiles was just beautiful. And all the flower beds where the pillars now stand, I almost cried!
