When the original "Journey Into Imagination" was there, that was our first stop. Having been a Make-A-Wish family we visited the The Kodak Lounge before going on the ride. This was back in 1987. So, when we visited WDW we would go straight to the Kodak Lounge to visit our new friends. It was so great to see Dreamfinder, Figment and the office workers. That was a super-great tradition for my family. But, things change: The lounge closed, the ride changed, Dreamfinder is gone and Figment...well, he must have eaten Miracle Grow! :goofy_bounce: :ccat: :ariel: :mickey3:

Eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe
The last time we ate there, we had a Japanese waitress who also sang "If your happy and you know it", partially in Japanese. My wife and I were the only ones laughing at her but it was SO funny! If I knew she'd still be there, that would have to be a new tradition.

Wow, I'm going to have to put some thought into this. There are a TON of things that have become ritual while we are at WDW.

I guess the main thing (other than places we always have to eat) would be pictures. There are places at which we have to take a picture every time, even if it only has been a few months in-between trips.

off topic but funny! last trip we ate at Teppenyaki (Japan Pavillion) while awaiting our table we were downstairs in the shop and this lady comes up to the counter with a purse that she was interested in purchasing it some Oriental writing on it. so she asks the young japanese CM behind the counter, "what does this writing on this handbag say?" the CM quietly replied. "I don't know? its in Chinese and i can't read it."

We always no matter what time it is, drop out bags at the room and head to the Magic Kingdom. We love that first site of the castle.

-Magic Kingdom is always the first park we visit.

It just makes me excited right away to be in the place that makes me feel like a little kid.

I have to have an eclair at the France Pavilion in Epcot. I figure after walking all day I can afford the calories.
