I had a friend working attractions (ride operations) at the Living Seas. She was at ride unload, when a couple came up to ask a question.
The woman asks "I know the fish are real, but what is the water made of?"
My friend replies "2 molecules of hydrogen and 1 of oxygen."
The woman punches the man in the shoulder and says "See, I told you it was fake."

Oh my lawdy. Was she being serious. Cuz that's just....wow.
One day I was talking to my manager while going around doing my trash run around the Hat at the Studios. This family comes up to both of us, and asks my manager, "so which park we at; Magic Kingdom or MGM?"
In my mind I was screaming, "how did you even get in here without looking at any signs?"

Wow.... I mean... wow. Does this remind anyone else of that website, can't remember the address at the moment, that warns people about the dangers of dihydrogen-monoxide.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

Hehe. yeah. It's those moments where you just want to be snarky and sort of sarcastic, but you can't. But my manager handled it well and patiently explained where the family was at, and how to get to Magic Kingdom. But..come on!! At least they didn't think it was Animal Kingdom.

You guys are mean. That's like saying Dopey or Goofy shouldn't breed and have kids...

Hehehehe.......... Dopey and Goofy are cartoons, and couldn't endanger anyone else by operating heavy machinery.

Oh yeah, what about the other 6 dwarves in the mine? You think they feel comfortable standing next to Dopey operating heavy machinery? i think not.

The sad thing is these are the people that operate machinery in factory, and no they are not official operating engineers (they have to pass lots of tests).
