Not just at Disney. I was at Sam's Club yesterday and was trying to figure out if people were running over me because they were in a hurry, just oblivious to others, rude, not paying attention?? I never came up with a concrete answer but I'm sad at the way the world has become all about an individual instead of caring for others...sigh...
I think with society's go-go-go mentality these days, it just makes everything worse in everyday life. Add in a ton of people, usually hot weather, and a vacation environment (plus oodles of over-sized stollers-used-as-weapons), and you have pure chaos. I know I was raised to apologize if I accidentally bumped someone or even
almost bumped someone. Heck, I was raised to say "Excuse me," just when walking past someone standing in place looking at whatever is on the shelves at a store.
I don't know if a bunch of parents these days are totally incompetent at raising polite children, or it's the children who just don't care and grow up to be self-centered adults, but whatever the cause, manners have gone the way of the wind with a lot of folks.
