Wow Len... Amazing photos. I especially loved the 4th July one. I am so jealous of my brother now. He was out there last 4th of July, but I was stuck doing exams at uni. He said the fireworks were good, but those look just fantastic!

Those were both great nighttime shots Len! I can't believe how many fireworks are going off at once!

Those are fantastic! I really love the reflection of Spaceship Earth, that is a great shot.Len90 wrote:I'll post two of my favorite night time shots from this past trip. The first one is taken from the World Showcase I think in Italy looking back towards SSE. One of the most amazing reflections you can get.
My final picture for the night is fitting to the fireworks theme. This is a shot of the finale from the 4th of July fireworks "Celebrate America" which also had a showing on July 3rd.

Fantastic pics. Len!!! The SSE shot looks like a postcard! I'm impressed with fireoworks photos, I can't seem to master that yet! I can't believe how many fireworks were going off at once! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much. Fireworks are very tough to master. I find the best thing to do is to prefocus your camera and time when you will snap the picture with when you think the shells are going to go off. As for the number of shells visible, it was the finale. You can make out one of the 360 degree points is in the far left. Everything else is from the "behind the castle" launching area.
As for the SSE ball, I am proud to say that you don't need a tripod in Disney. They usually have a garbage can or other object that you can mount your camera on and get a good steady shot. Another trick to eliminate camera shake is to use the 2 second self timer feature. It allows you to minimize the shake in the image when you hit the trigger.

Superb colours Dude
I think the pic is has surprise value, everyone expects SSE to be white.

The magic never ends...but there is something about seeing the magic at night.
