I love AKL.... I could move right in there and never leave even if it was just the lobby.

Yup. That's how I feel. I have often spent up to an hour at a time (which is a lot, considering the tight schedule DW always has us on...) just sitting in front of the fire pit soaking it all in. I especially like the way it overlooks the lounge and restaurants below, with streams and waterfalls going down through it. Fantastic!

On third trip to WDW we visited during Christmas and we toured all the resorts. I can say that the Grand Floridian was the most comfortable. I rested enjoying the music (lite piano - great), the holiday theme, and not as many children running around. The color scheme was easy on the eyes with not so many primary colors. Looking forward to "growing up" and staying there on one of our future visits.

The Polynesian! I love the tropical theme and the waterfalls.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I'd also have to vote for AKL. The kids loved the "zoo" right outside.

I don't have a number one lobby, but I do have two current favorites. The Fort Wilderness Lobby is impressive. I do love the Polynesian Resort Lobby as well.

My last trip down in January, I went around to bunch of hotels that I hadn't visited in a while. I forgot how nice the AKL lobby is. Right up there with Wilderness Lodge.

I would love to be relaxing on a big, fluffy couch in the Grand Floridian lobby right about now...

It seems the Animal Kingdom Lodge gets the most votes.

I say Wilderness Lodge, followed by The Poly.

I'd have to vote for the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
