No worries! Figures, when we were D23 members nothing was in our area. That's o.k. It will be well worth it, I am sure! Looking forward to Sat!

We thought about letting our memberships lapse the year we moved, since we would no longer be so close to California. But when we saw that there were actually some events coming to Chicago, we decided to hang in there. We don't get as much out of the membership as we used to, but since we still go to the Expos and are still charter members (there are perks involved), we'll hang in there a bit longer.

We'll post some photos so you can see what is there. How far of a drive would that be for you to come to Chicago? If you come in the warmer months, we would definitely be up for going again for another meet up

Attention time travelers ~ we have two more weekends until the D23 exhibit exits the MSI. I have continuing ed classes all day this coming Saturday and a first communion party on Sunday, but Figment and I are hoping to hit up the museum on Saturday 5/3 or 5/4. Anyone else able to come either 5/3 or 5/4?

Negative. This weekend we are driving to Muncie to get most of Meghan's stuff, and the next weekend is our neighborhood garage sale, in which we MUST take part lest our walls explode from all the crappola we have sitting around.

Bummer. I understand about the garage sale thing though ~ we are definitely having one this year!

May 4th is the last day it is at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago ~ I imagine it will be headed to another city after that...can't locate a schedule for it though

When we spoke to Becky Cline (Head of the Walt Disney Archives) when the exhibit first opened, she mentioned that it would be a possibility that the exhibit could go elsewhere...though at the time (back in October) there were no set plans. We haven't heard if there has been any update to this information.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to attend again. Even though we will be in Chicago this week, it is for a totally different reason and we won't be able to sneak away...next week is no good either. I am grateful that we were fortunate enough to go and I hope some of you will get to attend in its final weeks.

Aww, sad you and Cbog40 can't go either but completely understand the circumstances preventing you from going again. Looks like I might just have to take some pictures and share with the class if anyone is interested...
