I was skeptical at first, but this really started to blow my mind.

Re: The Pixar Theory
Entertaining theory, but that is the whole point of Pixar movies. The theory really illustrates the endless need of humans to find patterns in anything, even random fun easter eggs left by Pixar animators; whose primary objective is to get the project done quickly, leveraging as much as they already have done along the way.

Re: The Pixar Theory
Yeah I agree...people have a need to find patterns and over-complicate things. I wonder how long that took someone to come up with though. It sure took a while just to read it!

Re: The Pixar Theory
My husband and I read it together, and about 5 times I looked at him and said - do you just want to read this later? I just took SO long.
They did catch my attention at the end about Boo though. The Sulley carving did me in. LOL

I started to read it, but I didn't get very far. I haven't seen enough of the movies for it to make much sense anyhow...rusafee1183 wrote:My husband and I read it together, and about 5 times I looked at him and said - do you just want to read this later? I just took SO long.

Clever but quite a few stretches.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

I like the part where Pixar links him to 9/11 conspiracy people.

lol. What's sad is that I have a good friend who actually believes in the 9/11 conspiracy. It's kind of sadWizzard419 wrote:I like the part where Pixar links him to 9/11 conspiracy people.

It's interesting but I don't believe it all that much.

Yeah, I'm a little iffy about it. It's still kind of cool to think about the movies being connected. I kind of think that the part involving Cars is the hardest for me to swallow, and then Boo turning out to be a witch. It seems a bit more sound than the time travel I see in the 3rd Harry Potter movie.

Re: The Pixar Theory
I believe John Lasseter has made no secret of the fact that there are lots of hidden things in Pixar films. A bit like "Hidden Mickeys" I suppose.
However for someone to take it all this far suggests to me that they really do have too much time on their hands

Re: The Pixar Theory
Someone did uncover that apparently each Pixar film has a reference to the next movie in it, but as you don't know the details of the next movie you won't be able to spot it until later.

Sort of like a "Where's Waldo" with time travel thrown in to boot.Wizzard419 wrote:Someone did uncover that apparently each Pixar film has a reference to the next movie in it, but as you don't know the details of the next movie you won't be able to spot it until later.

Re: The Pixar Theory
Neat! Makes me want to watch all the movies in reverse order to see if I can spot the references Ok, probably not, but it's a thought if I ever find myself with a whole lot of time to killcy1229 wrote:Sort of like a "Where's Waldo" with time travel thrown in to boot.Wizzard419 wrote:Someone did uncover that apparently each Pixar film has a reference to the next movie in it, but as you don't know the details of the next movie you won't be able to spot it until later.
