At one point in my life I would have agreed with you on that...however, since having the privilege to listen to Richard Sherman tell the story of the song and perform it the way it was written (as a ballad), my outlook on the song has changed drastically. It was beautiful!

The underlying theme of the ride is one that the world needs to hear...

If you put the people of the world on that ride they still kill each other but instead it would be in effort to get away from that insane music. Ballad or not. It's a bad song. Then again my taste in music has never been lauded.

I have been a pilot for more than 30 years, and the teacup ride still gets to me sometimes . Small children laugh at me when I tell them. I guess pilots are terrified by spinning out of control. :?

Sorry, to me the worst isn't listed in the poll above:

(1) Dreamflights - it's amazing what you can build out of cardboard cut-outs!

(2) Kitchen Kabaret - so bad, even Sid & Marty Krofft would not put it on Saturday mornings!

(3) Food Rocks - shows how you can take something so bad like the Kitchen Kabaret and make it worst!

(4) Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor - be fun if it was funny, not boring.

(5) Journey Into YOUR Imagination (without figment) - how ironic a ride that insults you for the lack of any imaganation itself totally lacked any imagination!

Some of your list are on my BEST! I love Food Rocks! Why wasn't Dumbo included?

Wow, I never saw this thread! I had to vote for Winnie the Pooh, even though DH and I find IASW nauseating as well. We like to call Winnie the Pooh a "cardboard" ride. Nothing moves, you just move through a sea of cardboard figures. It's almost as bad as Snow White. I'm surprised Disney can't come up with something better for the kiddies.

I'm with you, Jacca, some of mindflippers worsts are my best too! It's always a matter of opinion though. We all like/dislike different things. And that's what makes this site so great!

Yeah, I don't agree with the author's choice of "worst" rides. In fact, I probably wouldn't have made this one a poll at all.

Well stated Boilerbabe! It's all a matter of opinion.... :D

Here are the worst on my list.

1. It's a Small World (It was like brainwashing to me)
2. Rocker Rods (I still haven't forgiven it for replacing the Peoplemover)
3. Jungle Cruise (If I do go, it's with my best friends)
4. Enchanted Tiki Room (I never liked it as a kid)
5. Star Tours (I can't wait until they finally update it)

WOW - I'm shocked at some of the choices, but as always, opinions vary. What some hate are others favorites. Spaceship Earth, Haunted Mansion, Illuminations, and IASW are not tops on my list to do, but we still do them every so often. I have never heard of Superstar limo since it is a Disneyland ride.

Worst out there - Drew Carey Sounds Dangerous, and Maelstrom (see - somebody thinks this one is awesome). I wish either of the previous attractions were in Sounds Dangerous location. I'm not a fan of the speedway, but kids love to drive.

It has been a long time since I went to the Sounds Dangerous show but I don't remember it being all that bad. If it is what I am thinking of, I remember thinking how cool it was to hear the sounds like someone was cutting your hair, and blowing the hair off ~ I am pretty amazed at that 360 degree sound recording technology...I can't remember much else though

I am quite surprised by some of the answers...

You're not missing much by not knowing about Superstar Limo. Here is a quick synopsis, though I don't remember all of the story line. Everyone is waiting for the next big Hollywood star...and guess what? It's you! Hop in your purple limo...as you make your way through iconic LA areas, papparazzi are popping out to take your picture, and you come across Hollywood stars (like Drew Carey & Whoopi Goldberg). One of the papparazzi really did take your picture too (but I don't remember being able to purchase it...it might be because I was running for the exit).

The idea was kind of cool, but when all of the sets/celebrities looked like cardboard caricatures, it was hard to really get into the story. Now, if they were to use technology to show actual footage/celebrities in a dark ride setting, then they might have something. Of course, the technology that's available today wasn't 10+ years ago...
