My kids got one a piece from Frosted Flakes boxes. One Mad Hatter and one Peter Pan. Quick, assuming an even distribution, how many boxes can you expect to buy to get all 50?

ok good question
apprach it two way the cost of getting all 50 (maybee more disney is know to have hidden mickey's ) or the odds of getting all from the boxes
thearitical geomitry
a = 50 known wobbleres
b = $ 3.00 for a large box of cereal
there for a x b = 150.00 just for attempt at all 50
but if you include duplicats 50 into 1 = 2.00 so the odds of getting a duplicats is 1 out of every 2 boxes
now this where it gets tricky
2 x 50 = 100 x $3.00 = $300.00 divide that by 50 = $6.00 per wobbler
brain starting to hurt
its just cheaper to order the set for $25.00
50 into 25.00 = $.50 per wobbler

Do you have a source for that? The boxes I have say $29.95 plus 3 UPCs. That would be $38.95 total. Still cheaper than buying boxes of cereal.

i got a cousin who works for kelloggs up north and i can get the employee at cost price
even though $29.00 dollars is still a good price
thats .58 cents apiece still cheaper than at $6.00 a piece of trying to get them all by doing random boxes

i put my theory to the test
4 boxes of cocoa rice crispy's
1 captian hook
2 dorey the fish
3 donald duck x 2
so my math is right 1 out of every 2 boxes will give you a double
i think we can also say what doubles we have and possibly trade our odds and ends
so if any one wants to trade a donald drop me a line
