Subsonic Radio Shortcut

Post by snomasnayr » May Wed 01, 2013 8:43 am

Hello everyone.

Up until a day or two ago I had a toolbar on my taskbar that opened up to the SubsincRadio folder. I did this because every time I tried to open it up from a shortcut none of the streams would load.
I fixed that by creating a new shortcut that went straight to the SubsonicRadio.exe and went the properties tab and told it to open up in the folder where I had the SubsonicRadio.exe.

So far it's been working and I just thought I'd share that with you in case you wanted to do the same.

How do you all access the program?

Hope this helps.

I usually access the stream by clicking the windows media player link for the stream I want.

Is that what you're asking?

I usually get to the streams through iTunes. Are you using the Subsonic Windows app to get to the streams?

That is exactly what I do when on my Mac. On my phone I will use the subsonic app.

Yes. I used it up until two days ago.

I use Windows 8 and I found an app (Radyo) that will open up streams. I love it because it integrates itself into my computer's volume control that's on my keyboard. It also gives the little alerts on the top right side of my computer screen (with artwork for the song). It's free and really cool. It also has a record feature, but I don't think it lets you export the recordings from the app. If it does I don't know how to do it yet. I would recommend listening to Subsonic through this app if you're running Windows 8.
