I've been in Chicago on business the past few years, but always have flown home before seeing the The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival with Mickey, Minnie and the gang as part of the parade. This year I decided to stick around to see this parade since it goes right past the Intercontinental Hotel where I'm staying. Are there any of you in Chicago, or who have seen this parade, who can share tips on the best place to view it?
Thanks!
Tim

Re: The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival-Chicago
We were supposed to go, but unfortunately those plans had to be scrapped...and we watched it on TV instead. But I really want to get to Chicago to see the lights at some point. We already saw Marshall Fields...er...Macy's and we happened to be there for the tree lighting in the Walnut Room. Expensive lunch, but worth it! It crossed something off the bucket list.
