Annual Shareholders Meeting

Anyone ever been to the annual shareholder’s meeting? I’m thinking about going next time (early 2006) if they hold it somewhere reasonable. They should be due for a west coast (or relatively west) run:

2005 Minneapolis, MN
2004 Philadelphia, PA
2003 Denver, CO
2002 Hartford, CT
2001 Fort Worth, TX
2000 Chicago, IL

You would think the Anaheim Convention Center would be an ideal place! With the 50th party still going on...

Hey - you ripping on Minneapolis as being unreasonable? I mean I know our winters are bad, and the summers are hot and humid, and the bugs are a pain... Wait, maybe you have a point...

Anyways, I was at this year's and it was not exactly Disney like - in other words not entertaining. I know, how much fun is biz but still :D They showed some future clips of movies, etc., but that all totaled maybe 5-10 minutes. And no freebies, well, one pin but that was it. Some characters showed up though, that was good.

I'd say go if you can and it is in your area [if you are loaded up on caffiene] - it is free but not something I'd actually travel to see.

I had to do a late November conference in Minneapolis once. Brrr. When I said reasonable, I meant somewhere west coast for us west coasters. Minneapolis is a bit far for me to go just for the meeting.

Yeah - I knew what you meant but just had to give you a hard time :D And late Nov. is nothing, try late Feb. in the snow and cold!

Maybe it was unusually cold that November, but there were a couple of feet of snow on the ground.
