I needed a smile today and the pictures of Emerson definitely brought one to my face, a big one! He is such a handsome little man! I LOVE his birthday invite too!!! You're very talented!

Well...we made it...2 years old.

We finally gave DS the bigger Mickey and Goofy plush dolls we got him last Summer and meant to give him at Christmas. A big boy needs a big Mickey. We had a Toy Story theme for his birthday...and I'll try to put some of those pictures on here too.

My...how far we've come.

Looks like Google+ can create animated pictures by stringing together pictures you took during a photo blast. I hope you can see the picture below of DS blowing out the candles in his cup of ice cream.

It is amazing how quickly children change ~ he is such a cutie! And the animation on his candle blowing is working, although it looks like Mommy might have snuck in to help? That is a cute shirt for the birthday boy too!

He has grown up so fast! I love the animated picture too!!! Many more Happy/Healthy Birthdays to Emerson!!!

Ok...so I still need to post birthday pictures.

But until then...DS is going to have a baby sister in October. Here is how we announced it on Facebook.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I might be a tad (ok more than a tad) biased, but I think daughters are flippin' awesome. Prayers for a healthy pregnancy and delivery, and for LittleYOWski's acceptance and adjusting to the new little one.

Oh...and we're planning on getting DD a plush Minnie similar to DS' Mickey...so we can watch her grow up the way he did.

I just hope we can be somewhat dedicated like we were with DS.

That will be great ~ definitely keep to it because that was so fun watching him grow like that. Are you still keeping up with the pictures every month now? I think they will really appreciate seeing all the photos and video when they are older!

We haven't done any pictures since DS turned 2...as he is not a fan of having to sit still for anything.

We will probably take pictures of him once DD gets here and we take her picture...just so we can compare. If I had to guess...we'll probably do monthly pictures with DD just because weekly ones can be tough. Maybe we'll do weekly the first few months though...since they change so much from week to week during the first 3-6 months.

Ah yes, I can see where having a 2 year old sit still for any length of time could be a challenge. I hope you are able to do the weekly photos of DD, it really made for an interesting video when you put them all together! I imagine it might be a little tougher with DD just because you also have DS running around as well

Congratulations on your daughter! Girls are fun! Can't wait to see the first pic of her! Your son is so cute and is so big now! Sad how they have to grow up so fast! my daughter is almost 13 and I can't believe how fast it's gone!
