If you haven't seen this documentary I can't stress enough, as a Disney fan you just have to see it! After finding it on Netflix I ended up watching it twice, back to back :mickey3: :donald: :minnie: :goofy: :pluto: .

Saw it several months back. Very interesting history. Had no idea of the rift between the brothers.

Still haven't seen the movie, but I did buy the CD this past week at the World of Disney. When we were waiting to check out, F1gment asked, "Who are they?" My heart just sank a bit...Mom just doesn't pay attention to artists' names. She either likes the songs, or not is what she tells me...sigh.

This is a must for any Disney fan!!!! We originally saw it at the D23 Expo in 2009, as it was debuted. We didn't know about the rift between them either. This documentary is so well made and really gives the viewer an inside look into one of the most beloved musical teams in history.

Yeah I saw this a few months back. It was very well done and did a great job telling their story. It was very sad seeing how far apart they have grown. I always wondered why it was always Richard Sherman that did the Disney stuff today and we never saw Robert. Knowing he lives in England and has nothing to do with his brother and very little if anything to do with Disney is just strange, considering the amazing contributions both of them made over the years. I loved the documentary though and it makes me appreciate everything they did even more...and it makes the Carousel of Progress a must-do...no matter what...every trip.

I didn't either. It's both ironic and sadly interesting to me that two people who got along so poorly could create such beautiful, happy music when working together.

Of the 3 docs that came out on DVD at the same time (this, Waking Sleeping Beauty, and Walt & El Groupo), this one was the best by miles, imo. Fascinating and incredibly sad all at once.

I have seen Walt and El Groupo and The Boys.

I would very strongly recommend both of them. The Boys is sweet and really rather sad, and El Groupo is a really nice insight to how Walt thought and how he did things.

I know El Groupo is on Netflix, I am not sure about The Boys. but they are really worth picking up, for sure.
