Looks like a busy month for the Disney drops. Mondo is putting out this poster on Friday at a random time.

They never do, it's just sometime tomorrow.
It will be on this page, they will update their twitter feed after they update the page itself.

The only hint I can really give (since I think it's done on a whim) is that it's done in the morning, usually between 9 and 10:30 PST but it's also been as early as 8 AM.
Be sure to have your account already set up and logged in (and CC ready) as the posters sell out in less than 4 mins usually and if the item is in your cart it does not mean you will get it unless you get the confirmation page after you check out. I've lost a few while checking out (you don't get billed)

Yep, if you don't get one the tradition is to go to their twitter feed and post horrible things about their process.
They aren't going to change the system because it may not be perfect but they sell out every time and everyone gets paid.

How limited are the posters? Are different posters offered at different edition sizes, or are they all the same?

Each edition carries a different total, but usually evey set is less than 500. One of the reasons you may see odd totals for the edition size is that they are hand printed and if they screw a poster up there probably isn't another sheet ready to replace it.

That explains how they go so fast then! Actually the prices are reasonable given the low edition numbers too...

Indeed, I think the record high for resale prices (from the site) has to be the Olly Moss original star wars trilogy posters. They were released one movie at a time at $50 apiece. If you planned on reselling them you will easily get at least $1,500 for the set. I got the Cpt. America poster set and the pair goes for about $500 last I checked.

I thought the Disney and Comic ones sold out fast, today they released a Frankenstein poster that cost about $300 (it's 21 color hand printed and signed by the artist, it's price is acceptable since there is a high failure rate when you add more colors). They sold out in less than 60 seconds which means they did over 90k in sales in that time.

I think I need to re-think my career. Perhaps I could become a poster artist!
