That is really cool and I thank you Any for starting the thread!
Can we put it on Disney Visa's?!?! That way we can earn Disney Dollars!!! Do we also get 6 months to pay it off?
 You must have a bit higher credit limit on your Disney Visa than I do  That was a good one b-babe :D
I do like Len's general idea. Then we wouldn't have to worry about accommodations when we headed out to DL!
HAHAHA That is too funny. Speaking of Disney Visas, our new cards came in the mail a few weeks ago. Apparently they updated the designs and the new cards look phenomenal! No more boarder on the right side and new colorations.

Looking at the real estate page, it looks like they haven't kept up with the modern conviences either, which isn't unusual for older homes. If I recall my Aunt's craftsmen home in Pasadena (it's right by the Gamble house/"Brown Mansion" from back to the future) is valued at something near the disney price and it's got a lot less land and house.

Ah, but the Craftsmen homes are really quite "collectible" aren't they? Hmmm, maybe the word is desirable? :?

Of course most of the price is the historical notation that "Walt Disney slept here"...

Couldn't hurt, but the aerial picture looked like it had a fair size piece of land with the home.

It looked nice, not my style, but I'm sure someone would like it.

The only problem with the arts and crafts homes is that repairs are more expensive/time consuming since the construction process was different. I actually think they may be required to keep the old processes now, like with historic landmarks.

"Well known person slept/lived here" doesn't help with the price all that much I would imagine, unless you're operating a tourist based attraction.

Those pictures are weird to look at...after watching documentaries on Walt and his family. I remember pictures and home videos of that house and the pool.

That's fun ~ I'm going to have to hunt down some of those documentaries on line maybe...
