Disney Phone Cases

I'm sure most people are already aware that Disney has been making cases for phones like the iPhone for quite some time. These have been available at both the parks and online. I am now happy to report that the cases have made their way into a Disney store near you. My local store just got in two different Mickey iPhone 4 cases and an iPad case the other day. Of course after seeing this I immediately got one for my iPhone 4! So I was wondering who else has a Disney themed case for their phone?

I have a Droid Incredible...so I will have to be on the lookout for a Disney case (hoping they make one).

If they don't you can always just use one of those printing services, if you don't mind infringment.

It's only infringement if you make money off of it.

Not anymore (or ever?), any unauthorized use/reproduction does count (except in certain cases which probably wouldn't apply to here).

Baloo has made me a few Jimmy Buffett/Disney hybrid stuff, "T"shirts, TV trays, wall hangings.

I'm hoping to get an iPhone sometime in the summer around my birthday so I'll be looking into this! Either that or maybe get an Anaheim Ducks case if I can find one on the store site or just browse for anything of interest.

I believe there are certain things you can get away with if you don't make a profit. For example I was a photographer for a calendar on another site that I am a part of and we didn't need photo releases on the pictures as the subjects were on public roads in public view and the project was done out of fun and not for profit.

Yeah, that's the paparazi law, if you're in/can be seen from public property then there is no expectation of privacy and you can do what you want with the photos (for profit included). Disney generally doesn't act on infringment (such as the radio sites or the torrent sites) because there is no money in it. Even that one guy who was packaging and selling theme park music/dvds didn't get nicked until someone went to the company to snitch. Now if you were to pirate a new DVD release, they might not care but there are law firms that make a living off of getting settlements out of pirates, such as for the hurt locker.

I'm not actually sure, I think Dave O'Neil ran that. Even when people went to disney to tattle, the first thing they did was send a ton of C&D notices. The guy ignored them and disney was ready to take him to court, they settled with him having to stop operations and if he did it again he would be required to pay some massive fee to the company. The only reason he got off so light (only having to pay his own legal fees) was that there is no money in suing the guy.

There was also a question of whether or not EA was truely an NPF as O'Neil had stated it was, which was also mentioned in the paperwork filed by Disney.
