Considering how much they raked in by slapping american flags on everything, I say they really can make a mint off of this. Plus they can also bend EA and Activision over the table (which will be a new experience for them) since those companies would like to cash in through their military games.

Re: Disney Trademarks Seal Team VI
They just filed so it still could be, but probably won't be, rejected. I'm guessing they got it since they were first in line. That would be funny if they became the first corporate sponsored/owned military team. Why use the rejects at blackwater when you can use the official stuff owned by disney?

Could be hard as Paramount may have a valid counterclaim. As a TV news channel in Germany recently discovered, the Federation Seal Team VI is NOT the same as seal team VI that got Bin Laden. Star Trek has already got one.

Looks like Disney has backed out of in deference to the navy, who filed 10 days after disney. Apparently part of the plans they had included a, I swear I am not making this up, snowglobe as well as christmas stockings.

I say that deserves an award for creative use of the scenario. Sure you could go for tv, a crappy movie, a video game tie in (or even just being a trademark troll and use it to make others pay you). It takes balls to make holiday decor and snowglobes.
