DW's grandmother (God rest her soul) also collected Disney watches. DW has one of those old watches and cherishes it.

I love collecting all things Mickey...Classic Mickey if at all possible.

not *yet*

to be honest...the only thing that scared me away from them on my last trip was the mystery involved...I didn't want to buy something that I could possibly regret

I don't collect those, but do own a few. I imagine that can get expensive and where do you put them?

Next to your Disney watches. How do you display your watches?

I don't display them. I keep them in a drawer. They are mostly 1982 and older.

I built my x wife four shadow boxes. That were shaped like each emblem of the parks. MK was the castle shape, AK was the tree of life, EPCOT was Spaceship earth, and MGM was the water tower. I wish I had a picture to show. I thought the EPCOT one was going to be the hardest to build. Turned out it was the Tree of life.

Well, everything FIGMENT of course!! I have a piece of the carpet with the Imagination logo, and my hubby (man I love him) carried one of the BIg Figs (haha nice pun) from JII all the way out to his car in the parking lot because he couldn't wait for them to send it to the front of the park. (this was when we lived there and had year passes, he got it for Christmas, and it has a place of honor right as you come in my front door)

It doesn't sound like you gained custody of the shadow boxes :( They sound very cool!

How did you obtain your carpet?!

Its probably when they put in new carpet. I did not realize they were selling the old though. That sounds cool.

There is a company called Mouse Surplus. They have a website and are also on Ebay as well. They were selling it. I believe that it was when they were changing the carpet around the time Honey I Shrunk the Audience came in. I have had it for a couple of years now. I am not sure if they are even selling it any more, to be honest. I think it was from that theater, not (unfortunately) from the JII building.
