Disney Parent Pulse

Post by Amy » Mar Wed 09, 2011 5:33 am

Did anyone else get an invitation to join the Disney Parent Pulse? I thought for sure I wouldn't qualify since I don't have children, but I answered all the questions and am now a panel member. I'm just curious if anyone else knows anything about this...

I got the invitation in my email, but I figured it was another Mom's Panel that I wouldn't have a shot at being on, so I didn't fill it out. I haven't looked into it, so I don't know much about it. When you get your packet of information(if they send one) please let us know more about it.

I think it is all online. I sort of scanned it quickly before I signed up to make sure it wasn't some sort of scam, but it seems like a legitimate panel. If you still have the invite, you should try it!

So you're on a panel for parents and you don't have any children? Does anyone see anything wrong with this? :? :?:

Maybe Amy still considers herself a hid at heart... that qualifies, right?

Amy - I took the plunge... I'm a fellow panelist now. Would you like one or three of my kids so you would feel more comfortable on the panel? :D

Whoo-hoo! That will be fun to already know someone! Umm, I babysit but I don't keep them...that sounds like too much work ;) Unless...you want me to take them to Disney for you..I could do that :D

Well now, being a professional babysitter is like being a de-facto in loco parentis. You're a "temporary parental subsitute" - it's like being a parent....

Well I didn't get an invitation, but I looked it up after reading this thread and also joined. After the original questionnaire, there doesn't seem to be much to do right now.

Just go kidnap a kid if they demand proof of children.

My friends' kids are pretty much like my nieces and nephews (since my actual nieces and nephew live so far away) so I could always borrow them before I would have to resort to kidnapping strangers' kids ;)
My friends' kids are getting older now though so they aren't as much fun to borrow. They cost more to feed and fight amongst themselves if left together too long in the backseat :(

They do say most kidnappings are comitted by people with direct connections to the families. Go for it Amy!

I think it's "take as-is" and "no return policy" that scared her off from that offer....
