Magic Kingdom Movie Being Filmed inside Disneyland!

I haven't read the "Kingdom Keepers" books yet, but I think if they were to make a movie along those lines, it could be kinda cool. Since there's not really any info on it and it's low on the production list, like Len, I will withhold judgement.

....to me, the scariest part of that article is the fact that there's going to be a Jungle Cruise movie (I'm kinda tired of every attraction needing to have some sort of movie tie-in...)

The Kingdom Keepers books are set in WDW, not DLR so I don't know what they're doing with filming a movie in DLR.

Yeah, I'm aware that the Kingdom Keepers books are set in WDW. I was just thinking (that's the real trouble right there) that if Disney were to make a movie along the same lines as KK, it could be pretty cool.

That might have more to do with ease of production, if the project is actually made, it wouldn't be too difficult to digitally replace the backdrop.
It's gotten so good that you would be surprised at the tv shows that use/used it.

It would also I balance things out I guess since the Tower of Terror movie had some shots filmed in Florida while trying to be Hollywood.

WOW!! Now that's cool. They just did some shooting like that at the Railroad Museum I pass when I take my DS to school. They had some big green screen set up, now I know what they were doing.

Thats what I was going to say! and by the way I love the Kingdom keepers series and I just cant seem to get my hand on the 4th book yet!

No, the Magic Kingdom movie has nothing to do with Kingdom Keepers book series. This is back from October 2010 (old news) but I have not actually heard that any filming has begun. Does anyone know? Or has this film quietly died on the drawing board?

I have read a mix of articles on the topic. I have also read that it will NOT be filmed in any of the park (Makes no sense to me).

I guess I'm not even sure this project has actual life.....

It does make some sense since they would have less control over the sets, if it's being filmed at all. Esp. since it sounds like the story takes place during the nights, they would have almost no time to work.
