Edit #2: Someone figured it out for me. It's the music on iDVD for Mac. I was convinced it was Disney because I heard it so many times making DVDs of Disney trips. Finally, I can sleep.
I was watching a tv show that had a segment on The Cake Ball Company. They played various pieces of music in the background, but one particular piece really perked up my ears. I instantly thought it was something Disney, and then I fixated on Pixar. It's very much in the style of some of music from Monsters Inc. It could be that it's just a piece of library music that I have heard before, but it's driving me crazy. I hope one of you can help.

Hi! Did you ever figure it out? It sounds like Klezmer music to me, although I'm not certain and definitely don't have an exact name for you.
