I also love radio serials. I have a collection of Mercury Theater and Campbell Playhouse on my computer.agingerbugg wrote:I love radio serials. I have many on my computer.
I disagree. I see kids to day listening to their IPODs and MP3 player for hours on end. If Disney keeps it interesting they will listen!agingerbugg wrote:I don't see it being successful. I kind of agree with both of you. If it is interesting, kids might give it a chance, it is only 8-9 minutes after all. But, I also wonder if it will be more of a draw for an older generation, one that grew up with Disney and want to relive a little nostalgia.Jacca5660 wrote:I disagree. Listening to music on an MP3 player for hours is different then following a serial radio program. I have friends who complain constantly when I have one of my radio programs playing in my car when they get in, and they are near 30...I don't see a tween having any more of an interest.Jacca5660 wrote: I disagree. I see your point, and with an episode being 8-9 minutes MAY keep the attention of today's youth. Though if it doesn't catch their attention within the first minute or so (maybe less), it will not hold it.Amy wrote:I kind of agree with both of you. Even I have a hard time sticking with something if it doesn't grab my interest right away, and I no longer fit in the "youth" categoryagingerbugg wrote:I see your point, and with an episode being 8-9 minutes MAY keep the attention of today's youth.
