Last October I won The Dream A Princess Dream Sweepstakes. After months of working with Disney I was able to convert the party to a Toy Story 3-D Movie party! I don't have a Princess and DIsney was very willing to work with us to change the prize. Last Saturday we had a private movie theater for 31 guests. Popcorn, candy and drinks during the movie. They rented the top floor of the movie theater for a luncheon party. Au Bon Pain provided sandwiches and a fresh fruit tray. Disney asked me for the name of a local baker and I provided them with the best one that I know...Bethel Bakery. They made the most AWESOME Toy Story Cake and it was so good too! We didn't want to cut into it! The kids took home a Mr. Potato head toy and a bag of treat including a cd of songs from the movie. Decorations were provided and all Toy Story themed too! The unexpected surprise was that they gave my son a huge programable Buzz Lightyear toy! It's in Target right now for $150. He also received a Disney net pal net notebook! What a shock! It was a very nice time for everyone and the kids all enjoyed the movie and party!ImageImageImageImageImageImage

What an awesome party ~ that was really nice of Disney to work with you on the theme! I'm guessing your son's face might not have been so beaming if he was holding up a Cinderella doll, errr, action figure :(

He was willing to do the Princess Party. I was ready to put him in a white tux and let him invite the girls in his class...then I thought of what it might do to him when he was older...the therapy! LOL!

He sounds like an awesome kid ~ you must be raising him right :D
(My friend's boys would have nothing to do with a princess party, even if you bribed them!)

Sometimes he can be very thoughtful. I've raised him into a Disney kid too so maybe that's why it didn't seem to bother him. He was all in favor of hosting the girls.

Better watch out for him in a few years...he'll have all the ladies on his arm ;)
