Re: JONAS!!!!!
I know Disney feels expensive that is until you go somewhere else.... You spend an entire trip disapointed, shelling out more money left and right and dealing with cranky unhelpful employees then you just go back to Disney and wonder why did I even try someplace else?

Aren't the origami animals made out of the Disney hotel towels? Can you take them?! We've always just taken a photo, and then used the towelrphillips14 wrote:I gotta say disney is pricey. But it is completely worth it. We have five people in our family.(two adults and three children)
So tickets for DW were about 5,000 dollars. But it was worth it.Our room was completely clean every time we walked in. And they left oragami animals in the bathroom.(We still have them)So the room was satisfactory.
The t-shirts were pricey. One sweatshirt was fifty dollars. But that is what a sweatshirt cost at our local wal-mart anyway. So I guess t-shirts were good.

Re: JONAS!!!!!
I too have taken the towel creations home (they were hot glued together and couldn't be used as towels anyway!) I asked at the desk if it was ok to take them, and it shocked the poor CM, he said no one had ever asked before! I was told that they do not "count" the number of towels left in a room and we would not be charged for them if we took them. No extra charge was placed on my card (and that was 2 years ago.) I only took the ones that were un-usable as towels because of the hot glue, all other towel creations were just photographed and then used.Amy wrote:Did you find an extra charge for towels on your hotel bill?!

We usually just photograph our towel creations and leave them there. We've never had any that were hot glued either.

"tacky" like glue? Before I get red-carded, I was thinking of boogers, of course!mindflipper wrote:Tacky. That's really tacky...Amy wrote:That's what I have done. Re: JONAS!!!!!
Some of my favorite towels (along with soap bottles, Shampoo, bar soap, coasters) have come from WDW resorts! I haven't figured how to put one of those Mickey patio chairs in my luggage yet!

Re: JONAS!!!!!
Are their any other rip offs or great deals or vacations any of you have been on?(Kings Island, Cruise lines, Hotels, .ect .ect.
We went to Holiday world the other day.
It was worth it. We went to the Splash & Safari. It was pretty cool. Plus free soft drinks, sunscreen and locker rental.
One more Question.
Has anyone been on the Disney Cruise? We are trying to Decide on our next Disney Vacation.
Here are the choices,
Both Water parks,
All 5 parks,
or Disney Cruise?

Re: JONAS!!!!!
We learned how to make towel animals when we went on a cruise. We like to leave animals for housekeeping staffs in hotels we stay in.

Ask b-babe, she apparently has found a way to stash a Poly mirror in her luggageJacca5660 wrote:Some of my favorite towels (along with soap bottles, Shampoo, bar soap, coasters) have come from WDW resorts! I haven't figured how to put one of those Mickey patio chairs in my luggage yet!
