My Dad was pretty loyal to the Chicago Bears but neither my brothers nor I really paid much attention to football. My best friend growing up was part of a die-hard Notre Dame family and tried for several years to explain the game. Same with my ambulance mates over the years spent sitting on the sidelines waiting for the inevitable patients. I just didn't "get it", although now I rather enjoy having my own fantasy football team to watch and root for

I hate it when I make stupid mistakes. This past weekend was a stupid mistake. On to week 6!

I have all but given up. Very few of my players actually performed the way they were predicted to perform.

I'll keep checking my roster to make sure no one is "playing" who has a bye, and that sort of thing, but at this point, I'm pretty sure I'm going to wind up in last place. sigh

Don't apologize for being good. You built a better team and earned the win.

It's a bit discouraging, yes, but no one should think I'm losing any sleep over having a crappy team. I'm still enjoying following the players and the little bit of trash talking, especially with NaCler. It will be fun to see how it goes when hubby and I are against each other in fantasy football.
