I would definitely want to dress as a face character. I think I would pass out if I had to put on one of the plushie costumes

I wish i would've got in line to meet Chewbacca when we were there in May. I wonder how often he's there. Whew, that has to be a hot costume!

Aren't the Star Wars characters pretty much only there for Star Wars weekends?

When we saw him it wasn't the Star Wars weekends yet. It was my first time seeing ever down there. I might have to ask about him and his schedule of appearance which might be more or regular during those weekends. And it might have been an intro kind of since we were there close to those weekends starting.

Was it close to when the attraction reopened after refurbishing?

Oh I don't know. Do you know when that was? We were down there the end of April to the first week of May of this year. I do love the refurbished ride though, it is awesome, especially when you get the Darth Vader scene!

I admit that I was a bit nervous about what they were going to do with Star Tours because I loved the old one so much.. But I am really happy with it, there are some pokes back to the old ride, and I love the idea that you can go on the ride and have it be different each time. Great way to make it re-ridable over and over. (of course it always was for me)

I love him too. I have a picture of him and me sitting right in front of me in my office!

Is this a meet and greet with him in a sombrero?

Yes, he does it outside, in the Mexico pavilion.

My 9yo loved this ride! He rode it so much and wanted to keep riding it. I'm glad we did ride it a lot to get the Darth Vader scene... AWESOME!!!

Man I did not know this! Oh well, another reason to go back, right? Thanks for the tip!

Sure! I'm not sure if there are certain times he does it, but when he does, you probably can't miss it. If you are facing the Mexico main building, it's usually in an area to the right, if I remember correctly. Like most characters, it's kind of near a door that leads backstage.

If the information isn't on the park map, you can ask a CM. They generally have a master schedule and should be able to tell you when he will be out greeting guests.

I think it would be so fun to be one of the HM cemetery workers in the MNSSHP parade!
