I didn't see a topic already for this but, Disney Legend Rue McClanahan passed away. :( She was 76.

Prayers go out to her family and friends. She was a really funny lady!

So many of the "big" stars seem to be passing away lately. I did always enjoy her acting in the Golden Girls...

Me too...even as a teenager, I thought that show was hilarious! My hubby rolls his eyes when I watch the re-runs of it...they still crack me up!

Wouldn't that be the Jaccarichter scale? Too funny, your tushie falls off and you fall face first, your tushie must be counterbalancing something?! ;) Just kidding, don't bite!!

Hmmmmmmmm, does that seem the right behaviour at a memorial or a funeral service???  Tsk, tsk, people.

Wow, when they say "it happens in threes", it did in this case: first with Gary Coleman, followed by Dennis Hopper, and finished off by Rue McClanahan. I was never a fan of Gary Coleman but he had my sympathies for the problems in his personal life. Dennis Hopper always had great comic delivery, and its shame to see him go. Rue McClanahan was a great actress and comedienne. Their families have my condolences.

Yeah, we saw this as Art Linkletter, Gary Coleman & Dennis Hopper

I hope it's not the start of another 3...nor do I hope it's going to be another summer like last year when there was a whole string of celebrity deaths beginning in May and running through the summer...it's sad to see the classic players dying. :( It's depressing!
