Subsonic Radio

Kingdom Keepers 3 comes out in early April and I'm not ashamed to admit that I like to read this type of fiction. I'm interested to know if anyone else likes these books as well.

Give me your thoughts on this series and others. I am currently reading the final book of the Peter Pan Prequels: Peter and the Sword of Mercy.

Let me know any great series that I have missed or may be coming soon.

I've read the Kingdom Keepers series and I liked them. They're a good fun read and I've been anticipating the third one for a while.

Yeah, the concept of Disney after closing was intriguing enough to try out the 1st book and I was surprised how well it was done. Plus it was really cool imagining underground tunnels in the PotC. Even if they don't exist (which, I have no clue because I have never been a CM) it was pretty cool.

I didn't like the 2nd one as much, maybe since it was mostly in the AK and I'm not a big AK fan. But the 3rd should be awesome as it takes place in EPCOT and DHS, I believe.

I've not heard of these books. They sound intriguing but are they geared toward a younger reading audience? I would assume they are meant for children?

They are towards children for the most part, Amy, but they can be a good read for anyone who is a Disney fan.

I wouldn't say that they are geared towards children as they are 300+ pages... more like early teen years. About the same as the Harry Potter books.

I think they are a good read for Disney fans no matter what age as they deal with running around in the parks after hours. Who here hasn't wondered about that at one time in their life? Many of the villains and characters come to life.

Give the 1st one a chance, I know you will like it. Libraries should have them on the shelves.

My favorite was when the dolls from It's A Small World came to life and started biting and attacking. Makes me glad I hate that ride.

True, that definitely gives you a different perspective while you are riding it.

I have good news - I was one of the winners of the D23 contest where you had to write a 300 word or less story on what you would do if you found yourself in Disney overnight. Did anyone else enter? It was for members of D23 only...

As for the books, i agree with NaCler - liked the first one, not so fond of the second one.

Thanks momeja ~ going to have to order books 1 and 2 through the library inter-loan and check them out...do they build on one another or is it ok to jump into book 3 first?

They do build on each other (at least the first and second ones do), so it's best to read them in order.

You KNOW you are not going to get by that easily. Are you going to share your story with us or has Disney already purchased the rights so they can make a new movie due out in 2012? I think you'll like the Kingdom Keeper books.
