A couple of years ago Disney entered the bridal market with a line of fairytale wedding dresses. The line is still going strong and now the designer,Kirstie Kelly is expanding into fine jewelry. National Jeweler reports that Kelly's new line of diamond wedding and engagement rings, "Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouawad" debuted this week as part of Bridal Fashion Week in New York. The line consists of six engagement rings with matching wedding bands that correspond to six Disney heroines, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Princess Jasmine from Aladdin, Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The Disney rings are being sold as semi-mounts (center stone not included) and retail for $1,200 to $6,000.

I would've loved to have had a Disney wedding, but when it comes to rings...you just can't compete with names like Ticori and others that have been around for a long time.

Hmm...I dont know but the disney rings that I jus saw using ur link didnt wow me at all. It didnt give me any spark to say that could be something that I would buy. Didnt see anything spectaculer abou it. Besides Im pretty sure that I can go to any jewerly store and pay the same amount for a full mount ring. Jus cuz it says disney doesnt always mean its the best and ur gettin more 4 ur money

I didn't really see anything striking about them that makes them distinctly Disney.
Not that they aren't beautiful rings, but they look like anything you could get anywhere. Where's the exclusive "Disney-ness" aspect?

That's kinda what I thought when I looked at them. And I think it mentioned they don't come with a center stone, well what's the fun in that

I like the wedding dresses more than the rings.

They just look like plain old engagement rings to me...can't really find the Disney connection. I like subtle, but this is a bit extreme! Thanks, but I'll take my sapphire any day.

I would've loved to have had a Disney wedding,
My Wife and I celebrated our tenth anniversary with a Disney Vow Renewal. We eloped (to Disney) the first time and had only the minister and his wife for wedding guests/officiants/photographers. This time we took all the family and friends that could attend (about 30 people).
Keep it in mind for your future, Boilerbabe.

we would love to renew our vows for our 5th Ann. at the Poly!!!
As part of our "Disney Fairytale Wedding" we got to choose a night, at our pick of resorts, for our (vow renewal) honeymoon night. We chose the Poly! Our view looked directly out at the Magic Kingdom (I think it was the Hawaii pavilion). We watched the fireworks framed by our window!
I highly recommend Disney Weddings.

We saved for three years and have not regreted a dime we spent. I still watch the video regularly.

That's fantastic withspirit! DH and I stayed at the Poly for our honeymoon, and they bumped us up to concierge, we were in the Hawaii longhouse with the Magic Kingdom view room! It was phenominal! You can't beat opening up your door and watching the fireworks! I wish we had done the Fairytale Wedding, from what I've seen, they look spectacular! Do you have any pics. you could post or would want to post?! Not trying to be pushy, so if not, that's o.k.!

Our Wedding was in the Italy Pavillion in EPCOT. My wife grew up in Italy as the daughter of an Air Force officer, so she really wanted this for the background. Notice how her dress matches the scenery!
The Reception was in the Attic at the Boardwalk. We had a Caricature artist that never stopped drawing guests. The cake was tie-dyed with a yin/yang symbol visible from above. Mickey and Minnie came in formal attire. Everyone was pleased.

Thanks so much for sharing! Those pictures are amazing. You two make a lovely couple! I LOVED the cake too!!! How did you decide to have the reception at Boardwalk?
DH and I definitely have to renew our vows at Disney!
