It's a Wii game that is coming out next fall. Looks very intriguing.

Looks sort of like Disney meets Blade Runner! It's a nightmare version of Disney. I don't understand how this does anything for Disney branding? It seem very weird, like what post apocalypse Disney will look like. Who is this being made for?

A little disturbing, isn't it?! I don't like it.

Not my cup of tea... it looks like Disney in 3010 after an alien takeover.

Who is this suppose to appeal to?!? It's the kind of thing that would give small children nightmares about ever going to the park again...

I'm actually pretty excited about this game. Everything I've read about it seems like a lot of fun.

I had heard about this game and saw a few drawings, but that link you've provided is great.

This is honestly something I would own for the Wii and can't wait for its release.

I'd have to guess mid-teen to young-adult male new-gen-console/PC gamers with some soft spot in their hearts for Disney (eg, ME!). Take a look at the most popular titles for that demographic... The Doom series, the Half-Life series, Bioshock, Aliens VS Predator, Borderlands (though it's still new, big pre-orders), the Grand Theft Auto series, the Call of Duty series, the Left for dead series, the Resident Evil series, etc... They all have some gloomy dystopian mood and/or immersive grungy, seedy atmosphere.

If even a fraction of the popular-title gamer community gives Epic Mickey a shot, they'll do just fine. I have to imagine Disney has done their research on this already and feel it to be a pretty safe move.

I'll definitely be checking it out!

(I don't care much for the title, though -- "epic" is a pretty lofty word to be self-applying, generally speaking.)

I can't wait. At least once a week for the past 2 months I've looked for new screen shots. It is supposed to be Oswald the Rabbit looking for revenge on Mickey for stealing his spot and sucking him in to a alternate reality.
