"100 Years of Magic" Ice Show?

Hey,
So, there's a Disney ice show that's going to be performed locally here that's called "100 Years of Magic" with Disney characters.
What "100 years" are they counting from? I'm so confused! Walt was born in 1901, so it's not an anniversary marker of his birth. He'd have been 8 years old 100 years ago, so it wouldn't have been at the start of his animation career they're celebrating.
Anyone know what 100 milestone this is supposed to be?
