I have been a member of the Chase visa for disney rewards since 2003 when it came out

Since than I have been charging everything I can on my visa

Since 2003 I have saved all my points and I just used some of my points on my march trip that me and my son just took

that was a free trip for us

and still have plenty of points for almost a free trip in june 2010

I have been a member since 2006! I try to put all the bills I can on the credit card and then send the money to it to pay it off! That way at least I get a little something back for all the money I give away each month!

Never thought of putting all my bills on it and then paying it off at one time each month?! Have you racked up enough to use it for anything?

I wish that you could get a rewards card that was a debit card but alas

I havent found any that work that way. I am pretty adamant about not having a credit card. but i might just make a small exception... putting all the bills on it and then only having to write one check each month sounds nice. would save money on stamps too. .... maybe i can convince my wife to get one after all

We LOVE our Disney Visa, I'm a Charter Member. We pay our credit card bill off every month, but we put everything we can on our Disney Visa!!! Like HauntedMansion 74 said, might as well get something for using the card! We usually rack up all of our points until the last possible moment and we cash them out right before we leave, we like to use them on our food! It's like our own dining plan. We have 263 right now, we'll be taking that with us in May!!!

It helps!
Did you all see that you can now cash your Disney Dollars out when you get there! I was really happy to read that!

Allright, can someone explain how the point system works with this card. I was thinking about getting my family to sign up for one, but they really don't explain it that well online.

Len, you guys really need to sign up!!!! I can't believe you're not already Disney Visa holders.
Anyhoo, you basically get 1% back on all of your purchases so $100=1 Disney Dollar. Sometimes they will do special offers on dining, gas, groceries etc... like you get 2% back.
But the perks you get for having this card it great! Like the character meet and greet, you get a free 5x7 out of the deal and you can go up to 6 x's in one visit. It's in EPCOT Innoventions West, and it's one of the Fab 5. You also get 20% off of tours! So when we do Dive Quest, we get a 20% discount. It helps!
If I've left anything out, someone please jump in!

my mom just got that card. I can't wait until we have enough points to use on a hotel or park ticket.

We use ours a lot too. Gas, prescriptions, food, and things like that. Then make the payment at the end of the month like some of the others mentioned. We use our points every year on our trips for food and souvenirs...

I've been a cardmember since last July and have already racked up almost 100 points - it really adds up quickly! I also like the perks to the park that it gives too - last December, we got Free Dining that was only available to Cardmembers.
Can someone explain how this Character Meet and Greet works? I've heard about it, but don't know exactly how it works.
