Just wanted to post the "View" on ABC is at Disneyland this week.
Yesterday Bob Iger was on talking about the new D23. John Lasseter talks about UP and Whoopie Goldberg takes a tour of the Disney warehouse.
Take a look at abc.com full episode "The View" for Wednesday March 11th.

I did go to ABC.com to watch that episode. Man what I would give to go inside that vault! I liked that Iger said they would eventually, someday have a Disney Museum because there was so much great stuff it would be a shame to not have one. That would be uber cool!!!!

I didn't see it, but I'm curious to know if he managed to make it sound at all worth while?

Well, the girls ewhed and ahed about the magazine which they had, said it had some great pictures early Disney. They didn't show the inside, and only saw the front as they looked at the magazine. They made over Bob Iger's watch more than the D23, he has a 1933 origanial Mickey Mouse watch. Really I thought they would hipe it up more. Although the warehouse was especially fun to watch, wish they had spent more time there.

I've heard a few things about the warehouse segment; sounds very cool. I really wish they'd get a move on with making a museum somewhere. I can't understand why they haven't done that yet, outside of the few items that pop up at MGM.
I have to wonder what the powers that be are thinking about the response they've gotten to their 23 plan. Must have been a hard week for them.

Uber cool wouldn't begin to describe it. I'm sure there is a vast treasure of museum quality stuff in that vault. WOW!! Logic would say that the museum would more than likely be west coast. I hope someone is already planning it. I love looking to the future, but preserving the past is also an important part.

A Disney Museum would be very neat but I not sure that could get all the rides inside that everyone would want to see and ride.

It really would be nice to have a museum, I know I enjoyed looking at all the early Mickey Mouse toys that they were displaying one year when we took our vacation.

I would like to see museum, memoribilia, I think it would be very nice to see some of those coustumes, cells, books, watches, pictures, that were used in movies, or hear some old records of past Disney life.....
One thing we didn't do on our last trip was visit the Walt Disney experince at DHS, and to this day I reget not going. Just didn't have enough time. But, next trip!
