enchanted phone calls

Post by brye » Dec Thu 11, 2008 9:43 am

anybody heard of these? my wife is on some disney points thingie, where you get points off of disney dvd's you buy, and she ordered enchanted phone calls, where you give them a phone number, and mickey mouse, or tigger (i think winnie the pooh was the 3rd option) call your house, and you answer the phone, press 1, and then you get a little call from them about what you pick. last night micky mouse called and told our son it was time for bed, and that him and pluto were getting tired, and going to bed too. our son's eyes lit up, and his mouth dropped open, it was so cute! he really thinks that mickey took the time to call him and tell him goodnight. anyone with kids should check it out, it's really neat.

Yes we had one when we bought our Disneyland package through Disney.com
I had to go to my friends cell to surprise him, thank goodness he answered. At first he said he wasn't going to because he didn't recognize the number, or it was a restricted number I can't remember. He isn't as into Disney as I am so I thought the Echanted call would get him more excited for our trip. He called me and said I just got a call from Mickie and Minnie they can't wait to see us.......LOL

Anyway I thought it was great!

it's not really an orignal idea. Target did this same thing for Black Friday a few years ago. You could choose a couple of options like Kermit the Frog, Santa Claus, and a bunch of other celebrities. They would call you to remind you when the store opened on Black friday.

it is a cute idea, though I'd rather spend my points on one of the elctronic gadgets or movies they offer...

oh, and also, if you book a trip between now and 12/23/08 for any 2009 date, you'll get a call from Mickey

How do you get a wake up call? I know, it sounds stupid but I've never done a wake up call before and think it would be more fun to have Mickey wake me up than my cell phone....

just call down to the front desk and ask for a wake up call. works the same as any other hotel in the country, but Disney has Mickey do it. You can hear recordings of it in the playlist.

Oh, and if you tell them it's your (or another person in you party) birthday, Goofy calls you and sings to you...

I had Goofy do that to me for my birthday this year. I went with three of my friends and we all had Goofy sing it to us.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for Christmas a few years back and their wake up calls were set to the Haunted Mansion Holiday ride-through. I loved it!!! :) - blue

Goofy called me on my Birthday and sang happy birthday. Mickey also sent me a signed picture for my birthday. We were staying at the AKL for my birthday. It was really cool! :goofy_bounce:

We had one last Christmas for my son and he loved it! We recently booked a Disney trip and if you go online and put in your reservation number you should get a call on Christmas morning. I hope it mentions something about our upcoming trip.
