This December, BBC Radio 2 will be recording and broadcasting a special evening of Disney music at the Lyceum Theatre in London (Where The Lion King plays).
Radio 2 brings a galaxy of Broadway and West End stars to London for a unique concert event celebrating The Music of Disney.

Staged in the Lyceum Theatre - the current home of 'The Lion King' - the 70-piece BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Larry Blank, will back a stellar cast that includes the original Broadway stars of 'The Lion King', 'Beauty and the Beast'; 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'; 'Aida' and 'The Little Mermaid' .
Further details are available on the BBC Radio 2 website here, and was sent to Disney.co.uk newsletter subscribers (see this page for a copy of that).

So, who's going to tune in to Radio 2 on Boxing Day to listen? I will be. Anyone going to attend the recording?

Andy.

It doesn't say at what time it will broadcast. Is there a specific time Radio 2 airs special programs? I would love to tune in although I am a few thousand miles away.

Friday Night is Music Night usually airs at 7:30pm, so I'd guess it'll be at 7:30pm on Boxing Day. That's GMT, of course. 2pm WDW time, I believe.

Cool, sounds great. I just hope BBC lets me listen. They sometimes randomly block foreign IP addresses for certain programming.

They do indeed. I don't know if that also applies to the live radio broadcasts. Of course, being in the UK I'll be able to access it for seven days after it's originally aired through BBC iPlayer :)
