Reverse Effect?

Anyone else a little paranoid that listening to the music here will have a reverse effect on them? By that I mean, the next time you're at a Disney park and you hear some music that you've heard here, you will be reminded of your living room, cubicle or office at work or where ever you listen?
It's crossed my mind more than once.....

It's not paranoia. It has happened to me. The feel'n passes. The "Magic" of just being there is a far more stronger force. The depression leaves you very quikly.

Good to know. The last thing I want is to be walking through Epcot, hearing the innoventions music and be taken back to my office at work.

I don't think this will happen often. There are SO many different songs to hear and they are not all played at the same time everyday. I listen to Disney in my car as well and when I was on Splash Mountain recently listening to "Everybody's got a laughing place...", I wasn't thinking of my car or driving. I think Disney Magic will prevail.

This doesn't happen to me. It's reciprocal. Whether I hear the music in the parks or at home online, I have the same nostalgia and warm fuzzies come over me.

I found myself in Adventureland last year tapping on time with the beats and saying oh hey i love this one. its rather funny. but its also a good check to the fact that they are still playing the same music in the parks to this day. (way to go sub!) I find it enchances my memory for when i'm back from a trip...i hear the track and i can place myself exactly where i was last time i heard it (and not in a cubicle. laugh)

I try to mix it up and flip through the channels on occasion. My only worry is that I'll hear a song so much here that when I actually hear it at the park it will seem "overplayed"....

I don't think this will happen to me because regardless of where I hear the music I think of the area that it plays at Disney. Plus hearing it at Disney surrounded by the "magic" I don't think of anything else.

I don't think it'll happen either simply because when I'm in WDW I'm so caught up in looking at everything from the amazing landscaping or the design of the queue or my times guide that I just enjoy the music and ambience that they have in each park.

When we were in WDW last Oct. we were staying at the Poly and on our way to our room, I heard the same Poly tunes as on Subsonic and I found myself humming along with it, it gave me a case of the happies!!!

I WOULD THINK THAT BEING MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE MUSIC FROM THE PARKS CAN ONLY HEIGHTEN YOUR EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU ARE ACTUALLY THERE, INSTEAD OF ONLY BEING BACKGROUND AMBIENT MUSIC IT MAY STAND OUT A LITTLE MORE AND HAVE YOU SAYING TO YOURSELF HEY I RECOGNIZE THAT SONG, IF YOU'RE AT DISNEY AND THINKING OF MUNDANE THINGS AT HOME YOUR DOING SOMETHING WRONG

We ought never to do wrong when people are looking.
