Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

Dear all,
I was looking at getting some DVD on the parks/ride (WDW) and was wondering if anyone had any of the Jeff Lange range. I have had some bad experiences in the past with buying DVD of this sort online (particularly with 'Relive the Magic') and was wondering about the quality of Jeff's ones. I am particularly interested in his DVD 'Epcot After Dark' and would love to know exactly what the DVD is about. His website for example does say if the audio is source audio or taken from his filming. Any tips would be appreciated.

Cheers - I have looked at those, but there are so many (even for each ride) that it's difficult to know which ones would be best for me.

Hi Guy,
The quality of the Jeff Lange videos are not all that wonderful.

Just a heads-up.

Probably would advise staying clear of Mr. Lange's work......Very jumpy.....reminds you of Blair Witch.......not even my kids could get all the way through them.....

Thanks for all the tips on the Jeff Lange DVDs. It seems that the best ones are from existinct attractions. Does anybody have any of their ones and if so which are best?

Ugh I've had trouble with Relive the magic as well. I was very disappointed not only in their DVDs but their service as well. I've wondered about Jeff Lange and I don't think I will be buying them now.

Jeff sent me a DVD to review a couple years ago and I liked the product:

Thanks for the tip - it's the shakey aspect that worries me the most I think.

Jeff uses tripods for most of his shots

Right - have you reviewed any more of his disks? There seem to be so many of them and it's not always easy to find out exactly what they include.
I am particularly interested in All New - Jeff Lange Remembers Epcot ’After Dark’ - 25th Anniversary Collectors Edition 2-Disc Set. Have you seen that one?

Relive the Magic wouldn't play on any DVD player I tried. The response I got from them was on the problem was good. They replaced my original set (the 2nd set didn't work either) and then after that offered a refund or Official Disney DVDs. I'll have to try the extinct attractions for some better one's.
