Quintessential Disney tune

Is there any Disney song that you feel embodies the whole Disney experience? For me, it is "Be Our Guest". Everytime I hear it, I feel it just screams DISNEY!
I know there are so many others. "When You Wish Upon a Star"...Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah..."A Dream is a Wish"...all come to mind.
So, what is it for you? What do you think is the ultimate Disney 'theme song'?

I can't even venture a guess, because I think of all of them when I think of Disney. I grew up on hearing Wish and Guest, but after going to the parks I think of Zip more now. But like I said I can't decide on which one.

All three I mean when you hear those songs you instantly think of Disney. But if I was going to Pick one... Its between "When You Wish Upon a Star" or "A Dream is a Wish"

Ummm... I'm going to pick

"A Dream is a Wish"

For me, it's probably "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah"

Feed the Birds... haha yeah right... not today's Disney at least.

Definitely a tie between When You Wish Upon A Star and A Dream Is A Wish. They both have the same basic meaning, but that meaning is what Disney is. Follow your dreams and your wishes will come true.

I think Second Star to the Right is a good theme song geared more toward the parks, because the parks, like Neverland, bring out the child in all of us.

I agree here. It comes down to those two for me as well. They were always in the commericals for Disneyland when I was a kid. but for me, I'm thinking "When You Wish Upon a Star"

There's a few for me. In order of preference:

1) A Whole New World
2) A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
3) Something There
4) When You Wish Upon a Star
5) Part of Your World

Those five are the ones I find myself humming the most.

A Dream is a Wish
Someday My Prince Will Come
Once Upon A Dream
It's A Small World
and of course, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah

These songs, along with many others, put a smile on my face and remind me of what Disney is all about.

When You Wish Upon a Star is definitely a song which will always bring up the spirit of Disney. My second choice is You can fly!

:peter_pan:

"Every dream that you dream will come true
When there's a smile in your heart there's no better time to start
Think of all the joy you'll find
when you leave the world behind
and say your cares good bye"

If you held a gun to my head and asked me to pick one, and only one, song to encompass the entire work of Walt Disney, I'd probably say "When You Wish Upon a Star."

I agree "When you Wish Upon a Star" and "A Dream is a Wish" would be my choices however Zip-A-Dee-Do-DA is right up there as well as it describes exactly how I feel when I'm in the park. Oh gosh they all say disney what a tough choice.

one little spark!!! disney is all about imagination coming to life!

but when you wish upon a star certainly fits the bill, also, in my opinion.

Hmm. Hard call but I'd give the nod to "A Dream is a Wish" for myself, with "When You Wish Upon a Star" in second. Another song that really 'feels Disney' to me is We Go On, from the end of Illuminations.
