I just found ....
mouseplanet.com wrote:…Universal Studios vice president Scott Trowbridge, the man behind The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Universal's Islands of Adventure park, among others, has been lured away by Walt Disney Imagineering to be vice president for creative research and development, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Trowbridge's departure comes at a critical time for Universal, as they gear up to create The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at IoA for a late 2009 opening.
Nice job by Disney to recognize talent. Spiderman is hands down the best ride in IOA.

Ooo, very nice. I wonder what kinda deal he got out of it. Seems like Universal would have wanted to keep him. Good job for Disney in any case. :mickey:

they really didn't want his talent for Disney...they just didn't want Universal to make Harry Potter good.

My brother said the Spiderman ride is worth the entry price to Universal alone. both of us are huge Marvel fans

Of course it probably didn't take much... How many people would leave today if they got a phone call from Disney, saying that they wanted you? I would!
