I've seen these 1/4" by 3" little changing things at the bottom of some people's posts, all over, where do you get them?

they're known as userbars. usually they are just static images, some of them are gif format with moving pictures. there are a few sites out there with a userbar for just about anything imaginable (not just Disney-themed). Most people get the Disney ones from Dan Smith's Userbars. he has a great selection.

we have a thread open on a userbar animator to make your userbars cycle like you see on my signature.

Wow. Thank you. Now I can move up a notch. No need to be too backwards. Plus I've kinda envied some of the ones I've seen. Nice to kind of advertise my faves too.

Okay, I could use some help here--talk about DUH!
I've created a user bar at the ubaminator site. Saved the codes. Tried to apply them to my signature here, as well as on my My Space page. Only the codes come up by my signature-- a link to view the userbar-- not the userbar itself. Heck, I still haven't figured out how to get a picture up for my avatar, either--jeez!!!
I'd be grateful for your words of wisdom, oh great ones!
ps) I've copied and pasted the "URL code" to my Subsonic signature, not the BB or HTML one. Take a look at my signature at the bottom of this post-- you'll see what I mean about the link. THANKS!!!

you need to use the BB codes, not the HTML or URL code. those are the only codes that work on the phpBB forum system.
