What is your #1 absolute favorite animated Disney film? Why?
Mine, I'd say, is
The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I absolutely loved it when I saw it in theatres and it was even more fun for me because I was working for The Disney Store when it was released. Remembering how we CMs tried to figure out how to
pronounce Clopin and Djali before the film came out... oh, it was hilarious!

I love the classics like Lady and the Tramp. Of couse some of the new ones are great and I believe getting back to Walt's concept of entertaining and groundbreaking.

I would have to say The Lion King. I was enthralled with that film ever since it was released and I still enjoy it.

Mine is Tarzan - I love the story and music. Lion King is a very close second for me for the same reasons.

I would have to agree with HSolo29 there is something about the Lion King that never gets old with me. If I remember correctly this was the first big animation movie Disney had done for some time, when it came out. And it was kind of a back to the basics for Disney as far as films.

Song of the South. I know it has both live action and animated parts. I can watch Lion King over and over again.

Peter Pan, Robin Hood, and the Great Mouse Detective never get old for me. There's something about the way the animator's show the characters facial expressions in 2-D that makes me laugh. I don't know how to explain it, but the new CG characters don't have the great facial expressions. I love Ratigan's "sarcastic" faces or Smee's face when he fumbles with the gun to shoot Peter.

Good point, Cheshire Cat. It's like how in a Pixar film, the characters eyes look... dead.

Sleeping Beauty, hands down.

Ah! Sleeping Beauty! I forgot that one, possibly the greatest animated movie Disney has ever created!

I recently rewatched Treasure Planet, and I thought it was amazing. It was visually stunning and the modern twist on the classic story was amusing. The music was beautiful. I liked all the characters and the mix of Pirates and Star Wars was great. I think this movie deserves more credit than Disney is giving it. They make all sorts of merchandise for their Chicken Little flop and ignore this "treasure" just like The Black Cauldron.

This is a tough one, there are so many that I love! I will have to say Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and Alice in Wonderland.

There are many that I love and never get tired of, but Sleeping Beauty is my all-time favorite, no contest. The way they did the backgrounds never ceases to fascinate me. I liked how Philip actually had a personality, as opposed to the other princes of the time, too. Heck, his horse had more personality than Cinderella or Snow White's guys.
