Haunted Mansion or Pirates? Which is your favorite movie? Why?
I am watching "Haunted Mansion" now. I was disappointed in HM but I love Pirates.

I like the pirate movies but haven't seen Haunted Mansion yet. Is it worth watching?

if anything, it's worth a once-over, as a rental, or if on sale. there are a few funny parts. the refernces to the ride are everywhere. the story, however, is lacking hardcore...
I prefer Pirates. the story is there, humor abounds, and the ferences are subtle, yet noticable...

The Haunted Mansion was on ABC tonight. I went to the movies to see the movie when it came out. I didn't care for then, tried to watch it tonight, just because. But, only watched a half hour.

HM was a cartoon next to the first Pirates movie. Disney could have done a much better job than the did, They a had a great cast, but there was no follow through.

this is hardly even a fair comparison. I don't think I've ever met someone who liked Haunted Mansion enough to watch it a 2nd time. Pirates, I know many people who saw the first 2 showings. of each movie.

I didn't watch the entire Haunted Mansion movie on ABC. I had gone to see it when it came out at the movies. Was disappointed but figured I would give it another try Saturday night. I really enjoy Eddie Murphy but did not care for this movie.

I don't think you can even compare the two movies. Pirates was very well done. HM I thought left a lot to be desired.

Oh, I'm not comparing them. I am just disappointed that HM wasn't a better movie. I love both rides! I was thrilled when they announced they were making "HM" and "Pirates." Then HM was a let down to me. I just wondered what others thought, that's all.

Sorry, I do agree with you that HM was a let down. I felt they could have done more with it.

This isn't even a comparison. In basically every way, the Pirates movies are far superior to Haunted Mansion.
