At World's End

Post by Esmeralda » May Thu 03, 2007 3:02 pm

Since I couldn't find a topic on this, I thought I'd start one. I'm sure you've all seen the Pirates 3 trailer by now, so what do you think? Will it be a blockbuster hit or just a bust? As good as the first one? What be on yer minds, mateys?

Im not really sure about it. I dont think you can top the first one i always loved that one. But, the second was really good to. Im kind of glad they are finishing it up on a good note and not dragging it out tooo long. Did anyone here about a contest where you could enter in to have WDI make an animatronic figure of yourself and put it in the ride at Disneyland? I signed up everyday and when the contest was over i never heard anything else about it. Weird!

Of course, rumors abound of a 4th Pirates flick.

I loved the first two, and I'm sure I'll love this one too.

We've heard the same rumor. I think this could be the best one yet. Let's face it, if this one does as good as the first two, Disney will make a fourth one. I think the hard part will be keeping the cast together.

Ok heres my take on the whole franchise: I am an advocate for the Pirates franchise cause I love those movies but I'd have to say that the 3rd one should be awesome and it'd be really weird if they had a fourth because lets face it the Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow franchise can only stretch soo far... I seriously doubt he wants to get called Jack Sparrow the rest of his life... but then what do I know their bringing Harrison Ford out for a fourth Indiana Jones lol so who knows what Disney and everybodys gonna do all I can say is that Im going to that movie and Im sure its gonna knock my socks off and have me speaking like Jack Sparrow for a week!! LOL

I think the first movie was a hit, and although the second one was pretty good it didn´t have the magic ofthe first one, so I´m just waiting to see Johnny Depp again as Jack Sparrow. For me that´s enough

Personally, I'd like to see more of Cap'n Jack and a bit less sword fighting than POTC2. A couple of those scenes got long, but I have high hopes for the World's End even though the preview started to make me sea sick!

First was outstanding. Second not so much. Hopefully this one will be better.

well, I think this will be much like the Revenge of the Sith movie. Unlike the Original Star Wars where the 3rd movie was the weekest of the trilogy...I think this will be like the Prequel trilogy where the 3rd will be the best one of all 3.

Agree. Who didn't love the first one? The second was okay, but rather disappointing to me. I think it has helped me to not get my hopes up for the third film. That way, it has a much better chance of surprising me with goodness.
